Medical Assistant Role Description
This is a full-time (option for part-time potentially available) on-site role for a Medical Assistant at Radiance Medical Aesthetics and Wellness Spa in Williston, VT. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing various day-to-day tasks including assisting patients and providers, clinic office tasks, patient care, and maintaining medical records.
Role Responsibilities
- Kindly meet, greet, and follow up with patients efficiently and professionally.
- Operate and handle clinic phone calls, emails, and messages.
- Schedule patient appointments and transmit essential information and documents they may need for their upcoming procedures and treatments.
- Acknowledge and greet all patients and visitors, handle inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate personnel according to their needs.
- Create and maintain patient files, documents, and forms.
- Assist patients in and out during their visits.
- Assist in daily clinic duties and opening/closing procedures.
- Restock and maintain clinic rooms and stock rooms.
- Assist management in inventory and operational tasks as requested.
- Answer telephones, schedule appointments, and help complete medical histories.
- Call or write communications to patients for marketing or treatment reminders.
- Meet or exceed patient satisfaction goals within the practice.
- Prep patients for their procedures by taking a medical history, and patient photos, and assisting during the procedure at the doctors’ request.
- Assist patients post-procedure, turn over rooms, and set up for the next patient.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas.
- Take initiative to engage with patients and help them feel comfortable during their visit.

- Professional patient care skills.
- Physically able to walk around and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Personable and poised in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Prior experience or career interest in the field of medicine is encouraged but not required.
- Ability to operate computers
- Sufficient writing and typing skills.
- Organizational skills and cleanliness.
- Team-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to learn and memorize information on existing and new services, product lines, and team credentials.
- Learn to operate new office technologies and procedures as they are implemented and improved.
