At Radiance Medical Aesthetics and Wellness Spa, we are dedicated to making meaningful impacts in our community. Our Commitment to Empowerment and Healing within Our Community
As a registered provider with the New Beginnings Program through the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), Dr. Colleen Parker is honored to assist survivors at this pivotal point in their recovery. The New Beginnings Program connects survivors with case managers and access to skilled, compassionate physicians who provide pro bono laser tattoo removal for markings often forced upon them during exploitation. These tattoos can carry very painful reminders of their experiences, and removing them is a powerful step toward reclaiming their lives, confidence, and identity.
Dr. Parker shares, “One of the worst things that can happen to a human is to have another human enslave, use, and then permanently mark them. It’s a horrible thing even to imagine let alone endure. For men, women, and children who have escaped that existence and are rebuilding their lives, this is an important psychological step to remove that mark and move on. We want to be there for them during that safe and appropriate stage of recovery.”

How Survivors Receive Pro Bono Tattoo Removal:
- Patients must have completed or be actively participating in a rehabilitation program or recovery support group affiliated with the National Trafficking Sheltered Alliance (https://shelteredalliance.org/members/) (NTSA).
- Patients are required to provide documentation from their case manager stating they are a sex trafficking survivor at a safe and appropriate stage of recovery to undergo tattoo removal.
- Once the above documentation is acquired, you can contact our office year-round to set up an initial consultation for your laser tattoo removal service.
- Please know that multiple sessions are required, and there is no guarantee of full-color removal.
